Lina Malshy – Executive Director, Composer, Principal Violinist

Lina Malshy is a composer, violinist, and orchestrator dedicated to bridging cultures through music. Trained in classical Arabic music and a graduate of Berklee College of Music, she blends Middle Eastern and Western traditions in her work. Lina serves as Executive Director and Musicians Coordinator of the Alwani Middle Eastern Orchestra, where she also performs and contributes original compositions and arrangements. Her mission is to build a thriving musical community that celebrates the richness of Middle Eastern heritage through innovative and heartfelt performances.
